Program details
- 12–14 month apprenticeship program
- 156 hours of online classroom learning
- 2,000 hours of on‑the‑job skills training
- No healthcare experience required (prior experience is a plus)
- No cost to participants for training or CCMA exam fees
Compensation
- Starting wage of $20 per hour, with an increase after 6 months
- Additional $0.75 per hour bilingual differential for fluent Spanish‑English speakers
Benefits
- Eligibility to sit for the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) exam upon successful completion
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or GED required
