Medical Assistant - Ambulatory Urology - MA

About the role

The Ambulatory Urology department is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to support our team. This position requires strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with pre-operative and post-operative care
• Prepare examination rooms and equipment
• Administer medications as directed by physicians
• Collect and record patient health information accurately
• Handle insurance claims and billing inquiries

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Assisting or related field
• Current Arizona Medical Assistant license
• Experience in an ambulatory care setting preferred
• Excellent organizational and communication skills

Qualifications

• Proficiency in electronic medical records systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Skills

• Effective verbal and written communication
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour based on experience
