Medical Assistant - $500 Sign On Bonus

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The Medical Assistant will play a crucial role in providing clinical and administrative support to our healthcare providers, ensuring the delivery of excellent care to our patients.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Facility Engagement: Act as a community liaison between key stakeholders (nursing, sales, wellness, and leadership) and communicate back to the team.
• Patient Engagement: Coordinate care between specialists, therapy, home health, and other ancillary services. Assist with front desk duties, including appointment management, scheduling, and other related duties.
• Monthly Outreach: Conduct outreach with residents/families to assess needs and coordinate care consistent with the provider’s care plan.
• Connect Patients: Connect patients with local/regional social support services.
• Clinical Functions: Greet each patient, family member, and staff member with a smile. Take vital signs, room patients (if in a clinic), and help prepare them for their visit. Coordinate after-visit coordination. Complete all diagnostic testing. Manage and complete all quality assurance monitoring.

• Experience working as a medical assistant in a healthcare setting, preferably in a geriatric or senior care environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
