Medical Assistant - $500 Sign On Bonus

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The Medical Assistant will play a crucial role in providing clinical and administrative support to our healthcare providers, ensuring the delivery of excellent care to our patients.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Facility Engagement
• Act as a community liaison between key stakeholders (nursing, sales, wellness, and leadership)
• Be attentive to the facility's needs and communicate back to the team
• Patient Engagement
• Care between (specialists, therapy, home health, and other ancillary services)
• Afford front desk duties, including appointment management, scheduling, and other related duties
• Monthly outreach with residents/families to assess needs and coordinate care consistent with the provider’s care plan
• Connect patients with local/regional social support services
• Clinical Functions
• Greet each patient, family member, and staff member with a smile
• Take vital signs, room patients (if in a clinic), and help prepare them for their visit
• Coordinate after-visit coordination
• Complete all diagnostic testing
• Manage and complete all quality assurance monitoring

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant
• Outgoing individual who loves interacting with people
• Organized and effective communicator
• Experience working as a medical assistant in a healthcare setting, preferably in a geriatric or senior care environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
• Willingness to learn and be a part of something great
