About the role
New England Dermatology & Laser Center is a long-standing specialty practice in the greater Springfield area, seeking Medical Assistants to support their growing team.
Responsibilities
- Facilitating a positive patient office experience
- Aiding with various procedures, surgeries, and visit documentation
- Completing lab and pathology requisitions
- Triage and return phone calls
- Scheduling patients
- Escorting patients to exam rooms
- Cleaning and stocking rooms
- Performing other related tasks as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Medical Assisting Certificate from an accredited school (preferred)
- Medical assisting experience (preferred)
- ACDT, CMA, or RMA certification within 90 days (required)
Pay
Hiring range: $22.32-$26.49 per hour based on experience and education.
Schedule
Company working hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30a-4:30p. Day shift. No weekends.

Work Setting
In-person. The regular work location is varied among offices (Northampton, Springfield, Longmeadow and Westfield) based on MD/PA/NP schedules and staffing needs.
