About the role
The Rare Neurology Medical Account Specialist (MS) engages Neurology specialists and key stakeholders across diverse care settings within an assigned geography. The MS delivers clinically focused messaging to drive revenue and achieve product goals, demonstrating strong ownership, initiative, and compliant, integrity-driven performance.
Responsibilities
- Deliver clinically focused selling messages to launch product and grow brand share and revenue.
- Partner with multiple collaboration stakeholders, including Reimbursement and Access Specialists, to proactively address customer needs, market dynamics, and trends.
- Develop and execute account strategies to grow market share, build relationships with clinicians, nurses, and patient advocacy groups.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to address customer needs and market dynamics.
- Support sales success through participation in congresses, regional meetings, and other industry events.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree mandatory, Master’s degree or additional advanced education/certifications a plus.
- Minimum 5 years successful experience in Neurology sales and specialty/biologic/REMS products, preferred.
- Minimum of (2) years of experience working with key thought leaders or high influence customers in large group practices, academic hospitals, or managed care organizations with a concentration in Neurology.
- Proven success and positive track record of consistent sales performance in complex markets with diverse customer segments operating with a high degree of integrity within compliance guidelines.
- Results-oriented with a proven track record of success with product launches.
- Strong account management experience with analytical, problem-solving, and planning skills.
- Strong understanding of the Neurology therapeutic area and the current Neurology marketplace.
Qualifications

- Emphasis on the “total account call” ensuring that all personnel in the account are educated on commercially available Regeneron products.
- Strategy and execution within key accounts in the Rare Neurology therapeutic area to establish, generate, and expand market share.
- Proactive identification of business opportunities with assigned accounts and leading appropriate coordination of effort by the Regeneron Rare Neurology account team.
- Gains deep knowledge of each assigned account through internal research and proactive gathering and integration of information from various stakeholders within the account.
