Media Manager (Paid Social)
About the role
As a Media Manager at Trevant, you'll be responsible for the delivery and performance of social media campaigns, ensuring optimal campaign setup, optimization, and delivery. This role requires a thorough understanding of buying full-funnel campaigns across all client platforms, strong analytical skills, and the ability to curate and implement optimizations with minimal oversight. You'll collaborate closely with the account management team and platform partners to bring campaigns to life that exceed client goals and drive innovation for the client's portfolio. This role is perfect for someone who loves diving into data, thrives on testing and iteration, and is a collaborative team player.
Responsibilities
- Showcase self-sufficiency in campaign execution, pacing, and optimization of paid media campaigns across major social and digital platforms; proactively share clear and actionable learnings across the team.
- Own and lead campaign analysis and optimization cycles, delivering insight-driven narratives through wrap reports and business reviews. Communicate with confidence and clarity in client and internal settings.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive strategy for cross-funnel and cross-channel activations, translating business objectives into clear media strategies, audience approaches, and creative recommendations.
- Possess a deep understanding of core measurement solutions and methodologies (e.g., brand lift, conversion lift, platform attribution). Interpret results and translate findings into actionable recommendations for clients.
- Champion innovation for both clients and internal teams by translating market trends and platform developments into actionable strategies; proactively identify problems or inefficiencies and recommend practical solutions.
Requirements
- 2-3+ years of hands-on experience managing media campaigns across paid social or digital channels. Hands-on experience directly on Meta, TikTok, and/or Pinterest is highly preferred. Additional paid media experience on Snapchat, Google, Reddit, LinkedIn, RMN, and CPG is a plus.
- Experience in audience strategies, creative excellence, and measurement. A forward-thinking mindset around AI-enabled optimization, data-driven audience evolution (1PD/3PD), and content intelligence tools that inform both creative and media decisioning is highly preferred.
- Analytical skills and familiarity with reporting tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, DOMO, and Google Analytics. Ability to quickly interpret performance data, uncover insights, and drive data-informed optimizations that improve campaign results.
- Strong communicator with confidence to lead conversations with polish and clarity. Skilled at data storytelling and simplifying complex ideas for all audience types, ranging from tactical partners to senior executives.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment — able to juggle multiple priorities, pivot quickly as business needs evolve, and delegate effectively to keep projects moving. Known for staying calm under pressure and leading with clarity amid shifting priorities.
- A self-starter with a collaborative spirit — resourceful in finding solutions, proactive in driving work forward, and energized by partnering cross-functionally to achieve shared goals and help others grow.
About Us
Trevant is a creator marketing agency built for brands that need more than a campaign. They need a system that justifies the investment.
We came up in performance media. We ran hundreds of millions in paid social spend before most agencies knew what attribution meant. When the creator economy took off, we didn't chase it. We applied the same operational rigor — vetting, attribution, brand safety, efficiency — to a channel that needed it.
The result is creator marketing that performs like your best paid channel. Creative ambition that earns attention. Infrastructure that makes that attention compound into outcomes. Every campaign, fully accountable.
Trevant is a subsidiary of Fluent, a commerce media solutions provider connecting top-tier brands with highly engaged consumers.
