Responsibilities

  • Collaborate in creation, post, and follow-up with 3-4 high quality posts per week
  • Daily Instagram stories (1+)
  • Engage with online community via commenting on posts, reaching out to potential donors, following up with known donors
  • Work with co-founders and other Duet team members to share thoughts and ideas on the platform
  • Grow a small community of like-minded followers to set the stage for future growth
  • Establish Facebook/LinkedIn strategy for establishing legitimacy and getting more eyes on Duet
  • Work on converting pre-existing and new blog content into Facebook posts
  • Collaborate with team members to produce content for LinkedIn

Requirements

  • Familiarity with current and emerging media platforms
  • Interest in social good
  • Regularly keeps up with social media trends
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment

Qualifications

We are seeking a highly-motivated individual who can step into the role with initiative, ownership, and organization and has a proven track record of creativity and sustained effort.

Benefits

Assuming all goes well, there is also the possibility of extending this internship into a permanent position past Summer 2021.

Skills

  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn)

Benefits

There is flexibility in setting hours, with the exception of bi-weekly all-team events (an all-hands meeting and a game night) and 1-2 regular meetings with the marketing team (times TBD, evenings PST).

Pay

The expected time commitment is 8-12 hours per week.
