Purpose
Midwest Communications, Inc in Peoria, IL is seeking a proven Media & Advertising Sales Consultant.

Drive revenue growth across one of the most dominant audio and digital media portfolios in Illinois.
Responsibilities
- Prospect, develop, and maintain a strong pipeline of new business through cold calling, networking, and community engagement
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients by understanding their business objectives and marketing needs
- Create and present customized advertising proposals across radio, digital, streaming, social, and promotional platforms
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales revenue goals
- Collaborate with internal teams (programming, promotions, digital, and production) to execute successful campaigns
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, proposals, and sales activity in CRM systems
- Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings
- Provide ongoing campaign performance updates and recommendations to clients
- Represent the station at community and networking events to enhance brand visibility
Requirements
- High-achieving sales leader with a track record of developing revenue
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Valid Illinois Driver License and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record Check
Qualifications
- Proven experience in media and advertising sales
- Strong understanding of radio, digital, and event marketing
- Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
- Proficiency in CRM systems
- Knowledge of industry trends and competitor offerings
