Job Summary

Supervises Med Techs in the performance of routine and special diagnostic testing in a Hospital Lab; special diagnostic testing.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: B.S. Degree in Medical Technology or related science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics)/Medical Technology Certification by ASCP
• Work Experience (Years and Area): 5 yrs. experience as a general Med. Tech or Med. Tech specialist in Hospital or Clinical Lab.
• Special Requirements: Communication Skills: Writing/Composing (Reports)
• Other Skills: Research
• Advanced Education Preference: Bachelor's Degree: Med Tech certified or Clinical Certification by ASCP or NCA
