Responsibilities
- Assist residents with cleaning, bathing, dressing, eating, and personal hygiene
- Communicate with other healthcare staff and department personnel concerning resident’s condition; maintain written records and documentation as required
- Maintain communication with residents, their families, and support personnel to ensure residents' needs are continually met
- Assist residents with the administration of medications according to company protocol and state regulations
- Maintain records (MARs/TARs) for each resident regarding medicines ordered, received, and administered
Requirements
- Compassionate, patient, and kind, with a heart for working with senior adults
- At least 18 years of age
- Good organizational abilities and communication skills
- Independent, energetic, creative, and have a pleasant approach
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
