Navion is seeking Certified Medication Technicians with experience as a Resident Aide for medication administration-related roles. Our Medication Technicians deliver high-quality medication administration and resident care oversight in a cutting-edge Assisted Living and Memory Care Community. This is a Part-Time opportunity to join a great team in supporting our residents, with openings on all shifts.

Responsibilities
- Demonstrates a positive working relationship with residents, family members, and staff
- Promotes and protects residents' rights and treats residents with dignity and respect
- Attends in-service and education programs and obtains continuing education required by state regulations
- Demonstrates the ability to remain calm under stressful conditions
- Maintains confidentiality of residents' information in compliance with HIPAA guidelines
- Maintains professional appearance by adherence to community dress code
- Documentation is completed in an informative and descriptive manner
- Reports all changes in a resident's condition to the supervisor as soon as possible
- Completes work schedules and assigned tasks in accordance with community policies and procedures
- Operates equipment safely and only uses equipment for which prior training has occurred
- Utilizes infection control precautions and practices in all activities
- Demonstrates knowledge of fire and emergency procedures and reports all safety violations
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Successful completion of a State Approved Medication Aide course & test
- Experience as a Personal Care Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant
- Adequate written and oral communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff
- Ability to work in a senior care environment without posing a substantial safety or health threat to self or others
- Ability to work well with others and promote a team environment
