Med Tech (Part-Time)(All Shifts) - Northlake House

Northlake House, a community of Navion Senior Living, is seeking Certified Medication Technicians for medication administration-related roles in a cutting-edge Memory Care Community. This is a part-time opportunity with all shifts available; every other weekend is required.

Northlake House has partnered with Tapcheck, a mobile app that allows team members to access their earned wages instantly, empowering them with more control over their finances.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates a positive working relationship with residents, family members, and staff
• Promotes and protects residents' rights and treats residents with dignity and respect
• Attends in-service and education programs and obtains continuing education required by state regulations
• Demonstrates the ability to remain calm under stressful conditions
• Maintains confidentiality of residents' information in compliance with HIPAA guidelines
• Maintains professional appearance by adherence to community dress code
• Documentation is completed in an informative and descriptive manner
• Reports all changes in a resident's condition to the supervisor as soon as possible
• Completes work schedules and assigned tasks in accordance with community policies and procedures
• Operates equipment safely and only uses equipment for which previous training has occurred
• Utilizes infection control precautions and practices in all activities
• Demonstrates knowledge of fire and emergency procedures; reports all safety violations

Requirements

• High School diploma
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Successful completion of a State Approved Medication Aide course
• Personal Care Assistant or Certified Nursing Certification required
• Adequate written and oral communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff in an interdisciplinary care setting
• Ability to work in a senior care environment without posing a substantial safety or health threat to self or others
• Ability to work well with others and promote a team environment
