Responsibilities

• Assist residents with cleaning, bathing, dressing, eating, and personal hygiene
• Communicate with other healthcare staff and department personnel; relay information concerning a resident’s condition; maintain written records and documentation as required
• Maintain communication with residents, their families, and support personnel to ensure residents’ needs are continually met
• Assist residents with the administration of medications according to company protocol and state regulations
• Maintain records (MARs/TARs) for each resident regarding medicines ordered, received, and administered

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, and kind with a heart for working with senior adults
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Good organizational abilities, communication skills; independent, energetic, creative, and pleasant approach
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Positive attitude and desire to learn and grow
