Responsibilities

• Performs duties in accordance with accepted standards of resident care
• Assists with dressing, grooming, bathing, and resident escorts/transfers
• Supports residents with nutritional needs, including:
  • Setting dining tables and serving meals
  • Ensuring proper fluid intake
  • Offering meal substitutions when appropriate
• Reminds residents to take medication and assists with opening containers/packages
• Monitors and reports changes in residents' behavior and conditions to the Assisted Living Director

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED preferred
• Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state
