Responsibilities

• Care Manager Duties:
  • Responsible for a designated group of residents during the shift; observes, reports, and documents symptoms and conditions.
  • Assists with continence management, maintains cleanliness, and engages residents in activities.
  • Greets and assists all internal and external customers, guests, family members, residents, vendors, and team members.
  • Does resident laundry as assigned and needed.
• Meditation Care Manager Duties:
  • Reviews service plans, assists/observes medications, and documents medication administration.
  • Counts narcotics, maintains medication rooms, and participates in the development of the Service Plan.
  • Takes vital signs and reports occupational exposures.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED.
• 18 years of age.
• Certified Nurse’s Aid certification preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred.

Skills

• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding.
• Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly stands, walks, uses hands to finger, handle, or feel, reaches with hands and arms, talks or hears.
• Lifts up to 50 pounds independently and up to 200 pounds with assistance.
• Pushes up to 350 lbs. (wheelchair).

Environment

• Works primarily indoors in a climate-controlled setting.
• Exposure to blood and body fluids, hazardous materials, and infectious diseases.
• Exposure to unpleasant odors and chemicals as identified in the MSDS Manual.
