Med Tech FT Swing Shift

About the role

Touchmark at Mt. Bachelor Village is seeking a Full-Time Swing Shift (2p-10:30p) Med Tech to join their team. The position is cross-trained between Memory Care and Assisted Living, with a schedule from Tuesday through Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care tasks and daily activities for residents
• Provide emotional support and care using the Best Friend’s Approach to dementia care
• Ensure quality resident care by being a shift lead and assisting the team
• Maintain patient and tactful composure during interactions with residents, family members, staff, and visitors

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Comfortable being a shift lead and assisting the team
• A genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment
• A willingness to continue learning and improving skills
• A commitment to confidentiality
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age

Skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to provide compassionate care
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
• Experience with dementia care and the Best Friend’s Approach
