Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities such as transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking.
• Administer medications and injections based on medical charts; ensure proper documentation of medications.
• Maintain cleanliness of the environment, including light housekeeping.
• Comply with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures.
• Assess for changes in residents’ conditions and communicate immediately to the supervisor.
• Follow schedules, assist residents with repositioning, and utilize good judgment in providing care and safety.
• Assist other team members with their duties and complete all required documents and charting.
• Answer call lights, assess residents’ needs, obtain meal trays, and assist with eating.
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in caregiving, preferably with dementia care.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Reliable transportation.
• Availability to work every other weekend.
