Bridgeway Park Tecumseh Senior Living Community is under new management and is expanding its team with dedicated, compassionate professionals. We are particularly seeking individuals with dementia caregiving experience to provide specialized care to residents with cognitive challenges.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities such as transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking.
• Administer medications and injections based on medical charts, including passing medication as a primary responsibility.
• Maintain cleanliness of the environment, including light housekeeping.
• Comply with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures.
• Assess for changes in residents' conditions and communicate immediately to the supervisor.
• Follow schedules and assist residents with repositioning.
• Document medications and complete all required charting.
• Use good judgment in providing client care and safety.
• Assist other team members with their duties.
• Answer call lights and assess residents' needs.
• Obtain meal trays and assist with eating.
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in caregiving or a related field.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Reliable transportation.
• Availability to work every other weekend.
