Med Tech

Job Summary

Working out of our Community Based Care facility, the Med Tech is responsible for administering medications to our residents in accordance with the established policies and procedures as directed by the supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Provide residents with routine daily nursing care and services
• Administer medications as ordered and in accordance with state and federal regulations and facility policies and procedures
• Seek licensed staff assistance as needed
• Follow the plan of care and chart all appropriate documentation
• Maintain patient confidentiality
• Communicate both orally and written with staff, residents, family members, etc.
• Foster a supportive, compassionate environment for our residents and their families

Requirements

• NAC/CNA or NAR or HCA required
• Must be 18 years of age
