Med Tech Responsibilities

• Administering medications
• Monitoring residents
• Providing basic care under licensed nurse supervision
• Focusing on accuracy, resident safety, documentation, and maintaining medication supplies
• Preparing and passing drugs following the "5 Rights"
• Checking vitals
• Observing for side effects
• Recording administration
• Managing medication carts
• Assisting with personal care like bathing, grooming, and feeding

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Active CNA license or completion of your nursing phlebotomy program
