About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Med Surg Registered Nurse to provide exceptional patient care in a 23-bed acute care unit. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans, ensuring patient safety and comfort, with occasional assignments to the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) for Med Surg Unit (MSU) cases.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments
- Monitor patient progress
- Document patient care in the EPIC system
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar acute care setting
- Certification in BLS (AHA or ARC)
- Certification in NIHSS
- Compassionate approach and strong teamwork skills
