Med Surg RN - PRN/Nights

About the Role

Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process, maintaining professional accountability and evaluating care effectiveness. Coordinates patient care with other departments, ensuring patient rights and confidentiality are upheld. Performs duties aligned with organizational mission, values, and standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care in a Med Surg setting during PRN night shifts.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Assess patient needs, administer treatments, and monitor progress.
• Evaluate care provided by colleagues and maintain patient safety and confidentiality.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN licensure in the state or compact license.
• Completion of hospital-specific competencies, certifications (e.g., BLS, ACLS, PALS), and mandatory in-services within required timeframes.
