Med Surg RN - Per Diem

About the role

Provides direct patient care as a Registered Nurse (RN) on the Med Surg unit, promoting patient safety and quality care. This safety-sensitive role requires alertness and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and patients.
• Educate patients and families on managing illnesses, post-treatment care, and medications.
• Participate in safety initiatives, regulatory compliance, and professional development.
• Utilize critical nursing skills to address physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and barriers.

Qualifications & Skills

• RN license required.
• BSN degree preferred.
