Med Surg RN - Contract

About the role

A dedicated Med Surg RN to provide compassionate patient care in a 23-bed acute care unit. The role involves working every other weekend and up to two mandatory shifts per six weeks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct care with a 1:6 (or 1:5 during weekdays) patient-to-nurse ratio
• Float to PCU for MSU assignments
• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC
• Adhere to trauma level 3 protocols
• Collaborate on care plans
• Provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborate with healthcare team
• Ensure compliance with protocols and documentation standards
• Maintain necessary certifications and experience

Requirements

• Active RN license
• BLS and NIHSS certifications
• At least one year of experience
