A Day in the Life

Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, the Nursing Assistant provides support to the patient by assisting with basic care for daily living including:

• bathroom assistance
• bathing
• maintaining hygiene
• changing bedding
• turning and repositioning
• assisting in ambulation
• serving and assisting with meals
• obtaining vital signs

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or GED
