About the Role
Provide direct patient care across six Medical and Surgical floors as part of a multidisciplinary team. Serve as an acting charge nurse to ensure quality care, staff assignments, and act as a clinical resource.
Responsibilities
- Assess and evaluate patient needs
- Implement physician orders
- Administer medications and change dressings
- Monitor vital signs
- Educate patients and families
- Lead performance improvement activities
- Support hospital mission and patient outcomes
Requirements
- Registered Nurse license from an accredited school
- Current Tennessee licensure
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification within 6 months of hire
- Preferred: 2 years of clinical experience
