Med/Surg Clinical Nurse - Full-Time Nights

About the Role

This nursing position involves providing direct patient care in a critical access hospital's Medical/Surgical unit, which includes 15 beds for medical-surgical and 6 observation beds. The role requires assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care while promoting safety, quality, and patient-centered care. Nurses collaborate with the healthcare team to develop individualized care plans, educate patients and families, and ensure communication across care settings.

Responsibilities

• Promote patient and family-centered care, education, and safety
• Develop and document care plans aligned with standards
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs
• Participate in professional development and regulatory compliance
• Work in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining alertness at all times

Key Duties

Requirements

• RN license required
• Nursing diploma or associate's degree; bachelor's preferred
• No prior experience necessary; less than 2 years preferred for higher education
