Med Surg Cardiac Nurse - Part Time - Nights

About the Role

Provides direct patient care in a Med Surg Cardiac unit, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educates on illness management, and ensures safety and quality compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develops and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
• Assesses physical, psychosocial, emotional, and cultural needs, addressing patient preferences and barriers.
• Participates in promoting safety, regulatory compliance, and professional development.
• Communicates effectively across the care continuum, ensuring continuity of care.

Requirements

• RN license with a Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree (required). Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred).
• No prior experience necessary; telemetry experience and BSN are preferred.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient education skills.
• Ability to work safely and alertly in a high-stakes environment.
