MED LAB TECHNICIAN - Full Time Nights

About the role

Serves as a medical lab technician, working to cover assigned shift or workstation within the laboratory, as scheduled. Follows the clinical laboratory's procedures for specimen handling and processing, test analyses, reporting and maintaining records of patient test results. The medical laboratory technician exercises limited independent judgment in carrying out job responsibilities and performs all testing under the general supervision of a licensed technologist, supervisor, or laboratory director.

Responsibilities

• Perform test analyses, reporting and maintaining records of patient test results
• Maintain equipment and records
• Perform quality control and quality assurance activities
• Participate in the evaluation of new procedures and equipment
• Train others
• Assist with miscellaneous functions required to maintain the smooth operation of the department such as clerical duties, reagent preparation, and inventory control activities

Pay

$23.32 - $35.52 per hour. Actual compensation may vary based on location and a variety of job-related factors, including experience, skills, education, and internal equity among Team Members in similar positions.
