About the Role

Reporting to the Food Services Manager and working within the kitchen, cafeteria, dishroom, and/or patient services, the Senior Food Service Associate performs a variety of food service tasks in the areas of meal assembly, service and delivery, catering, dishwashing, sanitation and safety, and assisting in training new Food Service Workers.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of food service tasks including meal assembly, service, and delivery
• Assist in catering operations
• Handle dishwashing and maintain sanitation and safety standards
• Assist in training new Food Service Workers

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years prior skilled food preparation/service experience
• Knowledge and practice of kitchen sanitary control techniques
• Ability to work variable shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in English
• Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
