Role Overview The Medication Aide/Med Tech is responsible for administering medications and treatments safely and accurately to residents in a senior living setting, ensuring dignity and regulatory compliance. Key Duties Include Administering medications and treatments according to physician ordersFollowing the Six Rights of Medication AdministrationAccurately documenting in MAR/TAR in real timeMonitoring residents during and after medication passesObserving symptoms, reporting concerns, and administering medications for symptom reliefCompleting narcotic counts and maintaining medication carts and roomsAdhering to infection control and safety standards The role requires attention to detail to prevent medication errors, early identification of health changes, and ensuring resident safety. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, Medication Administration certification, CPR and First Aid certifications, and strong communication skills. Senior care experience is preferred. This position plays a vital part in delivering safe, accurate medication care to enhance residents' quality of life.
