Med Assist II/LPN Office Clinic-Cardio

Physician Office | Kettering | Full-Time | First Shift

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and clinical support in an outpatient clinic setting under the direction of a registered nurse or physician.
• Perform basic nursing procedures.
• Assist with examinations.
• Administer medications.
• Support patient education to ensure safe, efficient, and compassionate care.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Carry out all job responsibilities in alignment with Kettering Health’s mission, vision, values, and B Safe program.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program.
• No additional requirements beyond completion of an accredited LPN program.
• Current, valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Ohio.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Experience in an outpatient clinic or ambulatory care environment.
• Certification in a specialty area relevant to the clinic population (e.g., geriatrics, pediatrics).
