About the role

The RN Office Clinic provides direct nursing care and patient education in an outpatient clinic setting, supporting efficient clinic operations and high-quality patient outcomes. This role combines clinical assessment, care coordination, and documentation to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centered care. Performs other duties as assigned. All job responsibilities are to be carried out in alignment with Kettering Health’s mission, vision, values, and B Safe program.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and patient education in an outpatient clinic.
• Perform clinical assessment, care coordination, and documentation.
• Support efficient clinic operations and high-quality patient outcomes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing).
• Clinical nursing experience preferred.
• Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Experience in an outpatient or ambulatory care environment preferred.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
