About the role

At CountryHouse Lincoln I, an Agemark Senior Living community, you'll provide compassionate care while building meaningful relationships with residents living with memory loss.

Responsibilities

  • Safely administer medications according to the physician's orders and residents’ care plans.
  • Accurately document medication administration and maintain records in our system.
  • Observe residents for any changes in condition, side effects, or concerns, and promptly report to nursing staff.
  • Absorb residents with activities of daily living, providing compassion and dignity in every interaction.
  • Build meaningful connections with residents, families, and your fellow team members.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive community environment where everyone feels valued.

Requirements

  • Active 40-hour Medication Aide certification (or equivalent, depending on state requirements).
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Compassion, patience, and a genuine interest in serving older adults.
  • Basic computer skills for medication tracking and documentation.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience working with individuals with memory loss is a plus.

Skills

  • Medication administration skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
