Mechatronics Maintenance Technician- CWW Back End Nights
Introduction to the job
At ASML, Mechatronics Technicians handle repair and maintenance of complex equipment in a dynamic manufacturing setting.
Roles and responsibilities
- Maximize equipment availability and reliability, by being effective at repairs and maintenance.
- Keep daily planning on track by communicating priorities, progress, and risks; adapt as needed with stakeholder input.
- Maintain continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and statuses.
- Collaborate with Management, and Technicians, to establish and complete priority activities and maintenance schedules.
- Support Continuous Improvement of equipment and maintenance program.
- Inventory Management support and 5S LEAN.
- Provide additional support, when needed, to other Optical Fabrication lines of business.
Education and Experience
- Must have 3+ years in electro-mechanical/mechatronics and an Associate degree, Technical or Automotive Certification, Military Technical training, or 6+ years relevant experience.
- Preferred: Experience with Thin Films Hi-Vac, and related manufacturing equipment.
- Control systems integration experience desirable.
- LEAN manufacturing and continuous improvement background a plus.

- Diagnose failures and execute repairs proficiently on both electrical and mechanical equipment.

Other Information
- You will be required to wear PPE and embrace ASML 5S requirements.
- Typically handles parts that could weigh up to 35 pounds
- Will be required to stand, sit, kneel and bend to load and unload the surfaces of the machine tools
- Production areas are maintained at 70 to 76 degrees and 40 to 50% relative humidity
- The noise level in the manufacturing areas is usually moderate
- Able to work in a cleanroom. This includes wearing the full bunny suit and PPE.
- Occasional travel may be required

- You must be work authorized in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship
- This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology.
- There is potential for exposure to strong magnetic fields, high voltage and currents.
