Mechatronics Engineer

Position Summary

Build, support, and iterate on prototypes and pre-production units—assembling, diagnosing issues, and driving improvements. Plan and execute functional testing and validation (mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration-related as applicable) to confirm performance and reliability. Troubleshoot issues across hardware, wiring, sensors, motors, mechanisms, and controls—performing root-cause analysis and implementing corrective actions. Partner with manufacturing, suppliers, and service teams to resolve build issues, improve quality, and support production schedules.

Specific Job Duties

• Support new and existing products through prototype builds, validation, and production readiness—owning issue resolution from discovery to closure.
• Assemble, evaluate, and refine electromechanical systems and subassemblies, working hands-on to improve function, durability, and serviceability.
• Develop test plans, collect and analyze data, and document results (findings, recommendations, and corrective actions) to support engineering decisions.
• Troubleshoot product and process issues using structured root-cause methods; coordinate fixes with engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers.
