Mechatronics Engineer

About the Role

As part of the hardware R&D team, you will work on designing, testing, and building the first prototypes of future products. The role involves a variety of tasks, including designing PCBs and mechanical parts on the computer, debugging manufactured parts, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of mechatronics, mechanical, and electrical engineers, as well as industrial designers.

You will also work closely with the product team to ensure alignment with the company’s future direction, contributing to cutting-edge technology that is sold globally.

Responsibilities

• Design and prototype PCBs and mechanical components.
• Test and debug first-run prototypes to resolve technical issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechatronics, mechanical, and electrical engineers, as well as industrial designers.
• Work with the product team to align R&D efforts with company goals.
• Engage in problem-solving and project planning across multiple engineering disciplines.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechatronics Engineering (BE/ME or equivalent).
• Experience or strong interest in robotics, electronics, and 3D printing.
• Proficiency in designing PCBs and mechanical parts using CAD tools.
• Ability to debug and troubleshoot hardware prototypes.
• Enjoyment of hands-on, varied work in a high-tech environment.
