About the role
The Mechanisms Technician II, Second Shift, plays a crucial role in the manufacturing of Terran R's primary structures. This position involves collaborating with engineering teams to build the first Terran R mechanism assemblies, following precise work instructions, assembling and testing complex electro-mechanical assemblies, and working closely with a team of technicians to execute daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering teams on building the 1st Terran R mechanism assemblies
- Follow precise work instructions to successfully complete build operations
- Assemble and test complex electro-mechanical assemblies using a variety of hand tools and test equipment
- Work closely with a team of technicians to successfully execute daily operations
Requirements
- 2+ years of aerospace mechanical experience or related field
- Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced environments with flight hardware
- Proficient in using calibrated tools such as torque wrenches and precision inspection equipment
- Experience in the building and testing of electro-mechanical systems
- Experience in wiring, harnessing, and avionics
- Proficiency of relevant aerospace industry standards and specifications, showcasing strong attention to detail and concern for product quality
Nice to have
- Experience with electrical testing, high and low voltage
- Experience troubleshooting electrical mechanical assemblies
- Airframe and Powerplant license
Qualifications

Pay
Hiring Range: $27.20 - $40.80 USD
Schedule
This is a 2nd shift position with a standard schedule of 3:30PM-2:00AM PT, Monday through Friday. The role includes a 10% shift differential added to the base pay. Please note that this position is structured around a baseline expectation of a 50-hour workweek, which may include occasional overtime as needed to meet operational goals.
