Mechanical Test Technician

Responsibilities

• Assemble, build, test, verify all of our battery and power conversion hardware.
• Work with engineering team to help refine speed and quality of production steps.
• Help develop and write install instructions for future field teams to shorten the install times.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams of design, test, and production engineers to refine new power electronics and energy storage hardware.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of professional hands-on experience in mechanical service work or builds of some type (internship experience is applicable).
• Hands-on experience with debugging, testing, and validating mechanical systems using common hand and power tools.
• Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with solar arrays as input power sources.
  • Familiarity with lithium-ion battery handling, safety, and usage.
