Responsibilities
- Performing maintenance and repairs on engines, compressors and associated components, such as compressor valves, spark plugs, cooling and lubrication systems (auxiliary)
- Overhauling compressors and engines, including foundation work, initial alignment, testing, and startup
- Ensuring the safe, effective, and efficient performance of maintenance and operation activities in accordance with Company standards and regulatory guidelines
- Complying with company policies, procedures and directives
- Performing work on air pollution control equipment
- Conducting preventive and corrective maintenance on various types of equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations
- Identifying maintenance work and initiating work requests
- Driving a company-owned vehicle within assigned area
- Diagnosing mechanical problems
- Providing Quality Assurance/Quality Control over 3rd Party contractors performing major maintenance
- Maintaining all required operations and safety training including required Operator Qualifications for DOT covered tasks
Requirements
- Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
- High School Diploma/GED equivalent
- At least 18 years old
- At least 1 year of mechanical experience in diesel or natural gas engines
- Valid driver's license
- Currently live, or willing to relocate, within 45 miles of the reporting location
- Willing and able to perform/comply with the following: climb various ladders and stairs, raise and transport articles weighing up to 50 pounds, walk, stand, stoop, sit, climb, and carry material on a daily basis, work outside in harsh weather conditions, work alone a high percentage of the time, work scheduled or unscheduled overtime, wear fire-retardant clothing and other personal protective equipment, and work a rotating call-out schedule
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Diesel Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or related field
- At least 1 year of maintenance/mechanical experience in oil and gas or related industry
- At least 1 year of direct experience with reading schematics, manuals and drawings
- Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, Word, and available maintenance programs
- A sound knowledge of code requirements, including OSHA, Process Safety Compensation Range
- This position has a base salary range of $70,200 – $99,000. At Phillips 66, we are committed to pay transparency and competitive, equitable compensation.

Pay
This position has a base salary range of $70,200 – $99,000. At Phillips 66, we are committed to pay transparency and competitive, equitable compensation. Each role is assigned a salary grade with a defined pay range, benchmarked against industry peers.
