The impact you’ll make in this role
As a Mechanical Technician, you’ll be responsible for supporting production operations, ensuring quality standards, and contributing to a safe and efficient plant environment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, repairing and perform preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment and components to include bearings, bushings, gear boxes, transmissions, motors, conveyor belts, pump seals, brakes, clutches, and drives.
• Troubleshooting and repairing pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.
• Performing basic machining using precision measuring equipment.
• Repairing and replacing piping, tubing, and associated fittings.
• Performing welding and fabrication tasks.
• Possessing the ability to clearly speak, understand, and write in English to communicate effectively in both verbal and written contexts.

Required Qualifications

• Possess, or in the last six (6) months of pursuing, an associate degree in Electro-Mechanics, Fluid Power, Energy Technology, Machinist, Automotive, or Diesel Mechanic
• Possess a High School Diploma/GED and two (2) years of maintenance experience in Electro-Mechanics, Fluid Power, Energy Technology, Machinist, Automotive, or Diesel Mechanic

Nice to Have Qualifications

• Five (5) years of maintenance experience in Electro-Mechanics, Fluid Power, Machinist, Automotive, or Diesel Mechanic
• Industrial motor drive controls troubleshooting experience
• Electrical equipment experience
• Industrial maintenance experience
• Experience troubleshooting and problem solving in a manufacturing environment

Starting Rate of Pay

The starting rate of pay for this position is $36.13/hour, with the potential to reach $39.55/hour. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
