Responsibilities
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and pipeline and terminal facilities.
- Perform overall troubleshooting and maintenance support for pipeline and terminal facilities in the assigned area.
- Plan, estimate, schedule, and control costs for maintenance projects.
- Record regulatory and company policy preventative maintenance inspections and procedures.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge about new and current technology and equipment.
- Procure and manage the efforts of outside contractors as required.
- Implement company policies, standards, drawings, diagrams, and construction specifications for facility installations and upgrades.
- Train Operations personnel and others on new or modified equipment or software.
- Maintain equipment records and furnish documentation per company policy.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A two-year associate’s degree in a technical field (electrical, electronic, or mechanical), or the equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Experience in pipeline, terminal, or plant operations and maintenance.
- Experience installing or troubleshooting PLCs (B&R, Siemens, Allen Bradley) and truck/rail load rack presets (Accuload, Multiload).
- Experience in measurement of liquids or gas is preferred.
- Must reside within 45 minutes normal driving time of the work location.
Position Requirements
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to navigate basic computer systems (Windows).
- Basic knowledge of SCADA applications and MS Office applications.
- Good communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Good analytical skills and technical aptitude.
Physical & Safety Requirements
- Must meet medical criteria established by OSHA for emergency response.
- Must be capable of performing the physical labor required to complete the responsibilities of this position (including capability to use related tools and work equipment).
