Mechanical Tech V
About the role
This position is first shift on a 4/10 work schedule-Monday - Thursday. Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies. Also performs a variety of duties assisting mechanical engineers in the development of mechanical and electro-mechanical engineering designs, tests, fabrications, modifications, assemblies and components. Fabricates and assembles new or modified mechanical components or assemblies. Assists with analyzing data and recommending modifications to components or test procedure to meet desired specifications. Works from process sheets, diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools and jigs.
Responsibilities
- Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.
- Assists mechanical engineers in the development of mechanical and electro-mechanical engineering designs, tests, fabrications, modifications, assemblies and components.
- Fabricates and assembles new or modified mechanical components or assemblies.
- Assists with analyzing data and recommending modifications to components or test procedure to meet desired specifications.
- Works from process sheets, diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools and jigs.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED and 4 years in a Manufacturing technician role or similar position
- J-STD Handsoldering certification
- Must be able to lift 20-40lbs.
- Experience following processes and instructions as well as interpreting written instructions and drawings
Qualifications
- Preferred: Lean Manufacturing Experience and/or certification
- Preferred: IPC Certification

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $75998 - $121597
