Key Responsibilities
- Lead supplier issue resolution and drive corrective actions across the supplier base.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, quality, production) to resolve supplier issues and ensure continuous improvement.
- Develop and propose supplier improvement plans to enhance manufacturing capabilities and quality standards.
- Document key learnings and best practices (BKM) and proliferate them across the organization where applicable.
- Assist in conducting supplier technical audits, evaluate supplier performance, and assess capabilities.
- Drive continuous improvement opportunities and foster a culture of operational excellence at the supplier level.
- Perform root cause analysis and facilitate problem-solving activities using methodologies such as 8D and CAPA.
- Support the implementation of corrective actions and track their effectiveness.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of Supplier Development and Supplier Quality management.
- In-depth understanding of mechanical parts, assemblies, and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Hands-on experience with problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, CAPA).
- Solid understanding of various manufacturing processes and interdependencies.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with vacuum systems and associated components.
- Knowledge of supplier technical audit processes.
- Proven track record of driving supplier performance improvements.
