Mechanical Superintendent

About the role

DEPCOM Power, a Koch Engineered Solutions company, seeks a Mechanical Superintendent to oversee racking and module installations across multiple utility-scale solar projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the mechanical self-perform team, including general foremen and foremen, ensuring safe, high-quality racking and module installation.
• Develop and coach team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
• Cook up and coordinate tools, equipment, and procurement with internal teams to support efficient project execution.
• Develop and communicate a comprehensive 3-week look-ahead for Mechanical disciplines on the project.
• Maintain schedules, track progress, and implement process improvements to ensure projects meet quality, safety, and operational standards.
• Travel to multiple project sites nationwide, building strong relationships with your team and contributing to DEPCOM’s culture of excellence and innovation.

Requirements

• Experience with pile driving, racking installation, and module installation.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Applications.
• Valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate equipment when necessary.
• Experience with racking systems such as GameChange, ATI, and NextTracker.
• Experience with procurement and labor management tools.

Benefits

The anticipated salary range for this role is $110,000 - $135,000 per year. Variable pay is also possible, which could be in the form of a monetary bonus or other incentives.
