Mechanical Staff Engineer (MEP) - Arlington, VA

Bala Consulting Engineers is a 200-person engineering firm headquartered in Wayne, PA, with full-service offices in New York, NY, Boston, MA, Baltimore, MD, and Washington, DC. We are a dynamic growth-oriented company built on strong relationships with our clients, staff, and industry partners. We are seeking an ambitious Mechanical Engineer in our DC area office, located in Arlington, VA.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage all phases of building design, including construction administration and commissioning.
• Execute projects using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Manage and execute multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes.
• Develop and present technical solutions effectively.
• Build and maintain positive client relationships.

Requirements

• 0-2 years of relevant Mechanical Engineering experience (MEP).
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
• EIT with goals to obtain a Professional Engineer License (PE).
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of applicable codes.
• Excellent technical, presentation, and client interface skills.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience in all phases of building design, including construction administration and commissioning.
• Experience in the management and execution of multiple projects in Revit and AutoCAD.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
