Mechanical Engineer- AEC - Arlington, VA

Responsibilities

• Heating and cooling load calculations
• Ductwork and piping sizing
• Selecting HVAC equipment
• Energy modeling
• Other engineering calculations

Requirements

• 3-6 years of experience
• Bachelor's Degree in mechanical engineering, or related field
• EIT or PE accreditation (a plus)
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
• Strong technical writing
• Presentation and client interface abilities
• Proficient knowledge of applicable codes
• Detail-oriented and deadline driven
• Ability to take direction and act independently
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay organized

Qualifications

• Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, or related field, from a 4-year accredited college or university.
