Mechanical Repair Assembler - 2nd Shift (Temp to Full time)

Nature Of Duties

  • Read, comprehend, interpret & follow basic work instructions, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, & other written instructions.
  • Follow established procedures to accurately assemble products.
  • Mechanical type assembly using hand tools and power tools.
  • Work with various sized materials from heavy parts to small intricate parts.
  • Identify product defects and report on to appropriate personnel.
  • Keep accurate records/logs etc.
  • Handling of ESD sensitive materials and equipment.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education And Experience

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 0 – 1 years experience, training is provided.
  • A strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Experience with hand tools such as ratchets, wrenches, battery and pneumatic operated tools.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time, safely lift up to 20 pounds on a regular basis and ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds (with assistance if required).
  • Basic computer skills – email, work instructions.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good command of the English language, both written and verbal.

Physical Demands

  • Sit and/or stand for extended periods in a manufacturing environment.
  • Talk and hear in person.
  • Use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls.
  • Reach with hands and arms.
  • Close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Occasionally may need to exert up to 30 pounds of force to lift, carry, push and pull or otherwise move objects.
