Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical and pneumatic components using hand and power tools
- Interpret and follow assembly drawings, work packages, and air diagrams
- Perform drilling, tapping, and grinding of parts as required
- Clean, pack, and crate finished products for shipment
- Use woodworking equipment to support packaging and crating activities
- Handle materials and operate overhead crane equipment safely
- Measure and inspect components using tools such as verniers, protractors, squares, and tape measures
- Inspect work at various stages to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Support other departments and perform additional tasks as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–3 years of experience in mechanical assembly or a related manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, prints, and work instructions
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally
Qualifications
- Experience with electrical assembly or sheet metal fabrication is preferred
- Familiarity with ISO9001 or similar quality management systems is preferred
- Experience operating overhead cranes or material handling equipment is preferred
Pay
Salary range: $45,000 - $60,000 annually
